- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Men and women of conscience, born by a deep and living faith, should resist any earthly force that requires you to contradict your conscience and faith. Resistance even unto death. This book was a biography and timeline of a relatively modern person who did just that. If this same resistance could be done thousands of times by thousands of people, the world likely would be a very different place. In conjunction with this I would recommend Tolstoy's The Kingdom of God is Within You
