Handy quick overview of the history of Scotland. There are more detailed accounts, but this is quite well researched.

Several facts were incorrect which makes me distrust the parts I don’t know.
But not importantly, the narrator was utterly terrible. He couldn’t pronounce half the words and names. If you’re going to read a book about Scotland, you might want to find someone who can say Scottish words and place names.
