- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I like this book because it uses actual photographs of the ambulances and paramedics and what they do. It doesn't use illustrations that could be inaccurate. For example when they are introducing medical equipment and stretchers they use a picture of a stretcher in the back of an ambulance not an illustration.Another reason I like this book is because it uses short sentences that get straight to the point. For example on page 6 it says, "an ambulance has flashing lights and a siren." The sentences are easy to comprehend and make the difficult task of explaining something complex seem easy. The main idea in this book is to be informative about ambulances.
