Chuck Black graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. After traveling the world as a tactical combat communications engineer for the United States Air Force, he was accepted into pilot training and served the nation as an F-16 fighter pilot. The mighty Sir Gavinaugh frees a slave and is repaid by her trying to kill him. He comes to realize her family is dead because of his past actions.

Her past comes back when she is taken from Gavinaugh by a shadow warrior to be returned to slavery. But Gavinaugh does not hesitated to go after Keanna this time.

The suspense mixed with deep truths made this book hard to put down. Chuck Black so well illustrated the truths of the gospel into an inspiring array of stories. My favorite book so far in the kingdom series.
