Cooking with gas

At the campsite, you have several options to cook food or boil water for a cuppa.

The most basic and best, of course, is a campfire, but it takes time to get going and you can't simply make a fire anywhere you like. A microwave comes in handy, but not all of us take one on holiday and besides, you need 220 V power at your stand. The same applies to an induction plate.

The most common way boiling water is a gas stove. If your caravan has an outdoor kitchen, it's most likely equipped with one, and if you are camping with a tent, a portable gas stove is almost as much a part of your camping gear as a set of camping chairs.

How it works
