Household energy bills to fall by £122 from July as Ofgem announces new price cap

Average annual household energy bills will fall by £122 in July, it was announced on Friday.

Ofgem announced on Friday that the average household energy bill will drop by 7% from July 1, when the latest change to the regulator’s price cap takes effect.

Ofgem's energy price cap will fall from £1,690 to £1,568 for a typical dual fuel household in England, Scotland and Wales.
