THE call of the wild is perhaps stronger than ever before, with more and more of us longing to escape our daily lives and immerse ourselves in the beauty of the natural world. For some, ideal forays may be weeks in the wilderness, hiking, biking or kayaking from one remote campsite to another. For others, it’s a weekend of bush glamping in easy reach of urban life.
