Chopin’s Waltz Op 64 No 2 section at bar 64, the key changes to the more optimistic key of D flat major but, in general, there is a certain melancholy feel to this Waltz (it could be interesting to note that Beethoven used the same key of C sharp minor for his mysterious and often tragic-sounding ‘Moonlight’ Sonata).
