THESE polymer striker-fired pistols are made by AĞAOĞLU Havacilik ve Savunma Sanayi, which stands for AĞAOĞLU Aviation and Defence Industry, shortened to AHSS. However, the pistols have now been rebranded as KOR Arms, which is displayed on the slide, while the AHSS brand is still used on the accessories.
Notwithstanding this mouthful, the pistol follows the simple and well-known Glock striker-fired design. However, the look and feel is more reminiscent of a CZ P09 or P07 – of course without the hammer or the slide riding inside the frame – and like the CZs, the pistol has a thumb safety mounted on the frame. Size-wise the FX-9 is about the same as a Glock 17.
