When our Head of Content, Jules Truss, mentioned the magazine’s latest project car was to be based on a Caddy 2K I wasn’t exactly enamoured at first - especially when he said it was to be built on a sensible budget, too. However, when the base vehicle arrived and proved to be extremely tidy, it soon got our creative juices flowing.
As the build was going to be produced in conjunction with Teng Tools, Elliott soon came up with the idea of a Race Support theme and with the old-skool Porsche Rennsport VW T1s for inspiration, we hit the ground running.
