Like Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s Battle of Los Angeles, wXw has established 16 Carat Gold as a destination, multi-day event for wrestlers and fans. The 18th edition, which took place at Oberhausen’s Turbinenhalle over an exciting grappling weekend in March, offered one of its most eclectic tournament brackets to date.

Bodies were bruised. Blood was spilled. Spirits were tested. And at least one career was irrevocably changed, as a journeyman wrestler penned his own entry in the history books.
