ON MARCH 3, AEW presented the 2024 edition of Revolution at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. During the heyday of the NWA and Jim Crockett Promotions, the famed Coliseum hosted numerous big-time wrestling shows, including the first four Starrcade events. It was also the venue where, in 1988, a young man called Sting battled to a 45-minute draw with NWA World champion Ric Flair. Fittingly, 26 years later, Greensboro got to say a final farewell to the Stinger.
