It combines all the hallmarks of a great Nintendo game and adds an incredible atmosphere, while building on all the tenets that established as such an immersive adventure. It has been a pleasure then to speak to a number of developers that have all been inspired by Nintendo’s game over the past 30 years. Some of them have created their own Metroidvanias, while others have made later games, but all have been influenced by the 1994 classic.
