AMERICAN ORCHARD ‘FENDERS’

About 12 years ago, my dad bought a 1954 Ferguson TE-D 20, for which he paid a whopping €100 which, then, was equivalent to about £75!

The tractor was initially intended to be nothing more than a spare parts donor machine, and what attracted Dad was the fact that it had better tinwork than what was on our existing, 1955 TE-D 20. However, after pouring some petrol into the fuel tank, she fired up straight away and ran beautifully. Then, as an added bonus, we were amazed to discover that the hydraulics were in perfect working order, as well!
