CASE HISTORY

A much-loved archival Rimowa piece is reimagined for the modern traveller

Renowed for their robust grooved anodised aluminium shells and spacious interiors, Rimowa’s vanity cases were the discerning globetrotter’s staple accessory back in the 1970s. Now, the luxury luggage brand has reimagined its archival piece, catering to the needs of the 21st-century traveller. The new leather-lined vanity case opens to reveal a water-repellent zipped pocket and flat pouch, with a mirror inside. Elsewhere, there are elastic holders for bottle storage, and there is also a removable aluminium and plexiglass tray, adorned with the Rimowa monogram. Finally, the reimagined version features a tighter travel strap than the original case, allowing for secure suitcase attachment while you are on the move. rimowa.com
