To design a home with both vibrancy and tranquility, Oliver Du Puy sought inspiration in the domestic work of Japanese architect Kazuo Shinohara and the colour field paintings of artist Mark Rothko. In Oliver’s design, simplicity and surprise blend to form an orderly yet unexpected interior. In the powder room, finishes comprise a custom mustard-tone Farrow and Ball paint and a bespoke sculptural Calacatta marble basin nestled symmetrically between two bronze-accented, peach-toned storage spaces.
