When I asked historian Dr Nicola Tallis about her writing day she told me she never imagined having one. ‘For a long time I don’t think anyone else who knows me would’ve imagined it either. So it came as a great surprise to us all. When younger, I didn’t show any flair or special passion for writing. It’s completely inspired by my love for history.
