GARDEN AVIARIES

ARECENT trip to the collection of Jed Savage reinforced to me that garden aviaries are a source of constant pleasure, creating a positive daily routine and a bond with other living creatures. As a visitor to the collection, it also proved there is always something to learn when it comes to good ideas regarding housing and husbandry.

Birds came into Jed's life when he inherited three barnkennel has become a complex of large flights and an immaculate tiled and heated indoor birdroom. The birdroom contains an indoor flight, a small number of cages and a fridge for storing food stuffs. The indoor area acts mainly as a quarantine area.
