GLEN “ØMEGAH” MCNAMARA

NZPC: Hey Glen, fancy seeing you on the other side of a feature. Straight off the bat, how did you get into modifying cars and what are some other cars you have owned in the past?

Here we are. It’s been a dream of mine to shoot and have my own car in the magazine ever since I started contributing frequently just over 3 ½ years ago. I’ve always had a passion for cars ever since I was young, like most others, it’s just grown from there. My 2nd car was also an AE111 Levin, but the XZ version had a 4A-FE engine. I put a full body kit on it and DTM Kaliber’s (the first Matte Black set in Issue 172/April 2011 as the Daily Driven submission. I had the chance to buy an AE85, which had the AE86 engine and rear diff/suspension conversion. So the B4 went on the market and I was able to get my dream car at the time. It’s 100% the car I miss the most. I wish I had it later in my life when I had more time to spend on it.
