Know the test well for enjoyment in the arena

DRESSAGE - ALISON KENWARD says

Caroline Lloyd, Herefordshire

Alison says: When you school at home have you noticed that your horse feels confident and relaxed with certain exercises? Every combination has their strengths. We want to develop our ability to show our strengths in the test. Start by bringing the competition environment to your arena at home, so dress your arena with flowerpots and play music to lift the atmosphere. Try plaiting up your horse and wearing your competition clothes to add a sense of occasion.
