RABBIT-PROOF FENCE GET GROWING
Now I like rabbits but having had them raid my plot in the past it does turn me into a Mr, or rather, Mrs McGregor determined to keep Peter Rabbit off my veggies. Surveys have shown the wild rabbit population in the UK fell by 43% between the 1990s and 2018 mainly due to disease and so you could say, sadly, they are not the adversary they once were but that said just one rabbit can cause a lot of damage to a small veg plot. So encouraging them to stay outside the growing area and creating good habitat for them beyond it is better. I
