As a fitting celebration of 25 years of endurance competition, Corvette Racing came back from two laps down to snatch a stunning victory in the Le Mans Grand Touring (LMGT) division of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2023.
The 24 Hours of Le Mans is one of the most prestigious and challenging endurance races in the world, yet it took Corvette Racing only two years to achieve on-track success, winning the same class in 2001 by an impressive 34 laps ahead of its closest competitor in its standout blue C5-R race car. Earlier that year, Corvette Racing won the 24 Hours of Daytona, even out-performing the prototypes for an impressive overall race victory. Since its historic first victory, Corvette Racing has won the 24 Hours of Le Mans an incredible nine times.
