Symphyotrichum ‘Little Carlow’
ormerly an aster, but now reclassified by botanists, ‘Little Carlow’ may not roll off the tongue quite as easily, but it’s still a must-have plant for this time of year. Clouds, it reaches around 90cm tall and is the recipient of an Award of Garden Merit from the RHS. You might also be tempted by ‘Prairie Sky’, which has similar small flowers, but in a soft pink shade.
