Fixing a broken blade
Q I have an old letter opener whose blade, I am told, is made from an early form of Bakelite with a magnifying glass at the top in a silver mount. Unfortunately, the blade has been accidentally snapped near the top, next to the magnifying glass. I hear there are blades made out of cattle bone and was wondering whether you would know where I might source
