Devin Haney meets Ryan Garcia tonight on another huge card of boxing, albeit one dominated by controversy.

Garcia was 3.2 pounds over the 140-pound light-welterweight limit at Friday’s weigh-in - where he chugged down a beer - and can no longer win Haney’s WBC world title this weekend as a result.

Haney, 25, is already one of the very best pound-for-pound stars in boxing, having been undisputed champion at lightweight after twice beating George Kambosos Jr in Australia and then backing it up with victory over the great Vasiliy Lomachenko.

Haney moved, winning 120–107 on all three judges’ scorecards to become a two-weight world champion in sensational fashion.
