MF will not contest elections

END OF AN ERA

FOR the first time since 1994, the Minority Front (MF) will not be contesting the elections.

Shameen Thakur-Rajbansi, the party leader, made the shocking announcement in the KZN Legislature, last week.

She said the party would not contest the May 29 elections due to its failure to secure sufficient donations.

She said it was her time to say goodbye.

“A time comes in the life of each of us that we have to, for various reasons, say goodbye. My time has come. I will not be contesting the 2024 general elections and this is really hard for me to say.
