THERE’S nothing that dominates the conversation more than the finances of the BS right now. (See, for example, News, C&AB March 27.) It’s a mess!
I am writing this before the society’s AGM on April 21 and after my column on page 9 of this issue. It’s a fast-moving topic, so what I say could soon prove to be out of date. However:
The society has, over the years, been a cash-rich organisation. The finances have been exceptionally well managed in years
