I have recently returned to the UK with my caravan, via Caen ferry terminal, arriving at 4pm.

After my experience, I would strongly advise other caravanners to be very vigilant and wary when making similar journeys.

I left my caravan for an hour or so to go for a meal, but when I got back, I discovered the van had been broken into and three people were attempting to stow away on board. The were called and the people were arrested, while we had to go to the police station and provide a statement.
