A drug breakthrough could usher in a “new era” for how an aggressive form of blood cancer is treated, scientists have said.
Described by researchers asacute which causes the bone marrow to produce a large number of abnormal blood cells. According to the NHS, there are about 3,100 people diagnosed with the disease each year in the UK.
