‘Access all areas’ at Bodmin as shunter shuffle commences

THE Branch Line Society has furthered its reputation for charters accessing parts of the network that other trains don't normally reach.

On the Bodmin & Wenford Railway on March 23, a special consisting of Bagnall former Par Docks and Class 08 No. 08359 – and 43 passengers in the GWR autocoach – was tasked with ‘kissing the buffers’ in sidings, headshunts and sheds along the 6½ miles of track between Bodmin Parkway and Boscarne Junction.
