Blue Peter pulling trains again – after 22 years!

LOCOMOTIVE Services Group at Crewe has announced that A2 Pacific No. 60532 Blue Peter has moved under its own power after an eight-year overhaul.

Blue Peter was seen on a video posted online on March 14 running up and down a siding alongside the works where the overhaul was carried out, with the opportunity taken for the workers to pose alongside it before its move south.

Four days later, on Marchhad arrived first. A fire was lit, and engineers from LSL and Bridgnorth carried out the routine inspections.
