What is Parkinson’s disease? Jeremy Paxman says it ‘makes you wish you hadn’t been born’

Jeremy Paxman, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2021, has said Parkinson’s disease “makes you wish you hadn’t been born”.

The former University Challenge and Newsnight presenter marked World Parkinson’s Day by presenting the Parky Charter and a petition with tens of thousands of names to Number 10.

Paxman is also a member of the Movers and Shakers podcast, which discusses the challenges of living with the disease.
