The boss of the NHS has made a dramatic intervention to The Independent highlighting the shocking amount of sexual abuse against staff in the health service, arguing that the Me Too moment is needed to safeguard staff.
Amanda Pritchard hit out at the “unacceptable” levels of abuse faced by doctors and nurses, demanding that health trusts must be judged over their progress on tackling sexual harassment.
She has called for the rates of sexual harassment against NHS staff to be “stamped out” that one in eight workers – 58,000
