WELCOME…

For our fifteenth Bike of the Year showpiece, we’ve taken a leaf out of the Hollywood playbook (hello,) and split our annual tech colossus over two editions instead of one. Screening first in BOTY 1.0 are the year’s best budget road (p20) and e-commuter (p33) buys, before a final act that delves into the past, present and future of female-specific bikes (p42). In next month’s sequel (out 10 May), it’s the turn of 2024’s finest race, endurance and gravel rides, and where we’ll also open the shiny golden envelope to reveal this year’s category winners and our overall Bike of the Year champion. Enjoy!
