Everyone knew Tony Eastlake.

The born-andbred Londoner was the popular and well-loved Flower Man of Islington.

Had been since he was just 14 – it'd been his father's stall back then, which Tony took over at 16.

Early every morning, he'd walk the few hundred metres from his home to open the Florence & Fleur flower stall outside Essex Road Station.

The green-painted stand was a beloved fixture in north London.
