TIP OF THE FORTNIGHT

Show a countdown timer when recording screen

I know you didn’t have much room to explain how Any Video Converter’s Screen Record tool works (Issue 678, page 19), so allow me to give details. There are a couple of things that might catch out novice users.

Finding the tool is easy – just click the Screen Record box on the home page. If you plan to use it a lot, click the pin icon so it starts automatically every time you launch Any Video Converter.

On the next page, make sure you tick ‘Hide the Main Window While Recording’ box ( in our screenshot). If not, then all you’ll record is the Screen Record page in Any Video Converter. Also choose a countdown timer so you can prepare to give me a bit more time.
