Any antique dealer or auctioneer worth their salt will have a decent stash of old auction catalogues. They are invaluable reference sources for both prices and historical research; and knowledge in the art and antiques game always puts you one step ahead. I've hoarded a vast collection of auction catalogues in a box-room upstairs, collected over many years, and some of them are now surprisingly valuable.
