10 top tips for spring cleaning success

1 When you're cleaning the oven, remove food spillages while the oven is still warm, but cool enough to safely touch it. Using a warm, damp cloth and a tiny bit of washing-up liquid, wipe away any food or grease, then rinse and wipe dry. For stubborn stains, you may need a specialist oven-cleaning product which is rubbed or sprayed on and left for a few minutes, then wiped away with a warm, damp cloth. Be careful not to get this into the vents or fan, as it's hard to remove the residue and could leave your oven with a strong smell.
