In Tacoma, Wash., the Music Box Theatre sat on the corner of Broadway and Ninth. In those days, if you didn’t catch the movie when it was playing, you were out of luck; it wouldn’t appear on television until many years later. The main feature was accompanied by a lesser B movie, and there was live organ music during intermissions!

Right around the corner on Broadway itself was Churchill’s Corset
