What a wonderful surprise and honour to see our family-owned marina make the top five marinas listed in Cottage Life’s “Best of All Things Cottage Country” (Mar/Apr ’24). We’ve been the owners of Mountain Trout House Marina for almost three years now. We made a life-changing decision during Covid and moved north with our three sons (see p. 14) and our dog, Donzi, to Kawagama Lake, Ont., where we had been cottage owners and marina clients for 20 years. Let’s just say life is quite different on the other side of the desk!
