Since I was a teenager and first knew that I wanted to get on two wheels, I was certain scooters wouldn’t be for me. It’s not that I had anything against them specifically, but in my eyes they couldn’t hold a candle to a good old geared motorbike. However, as I started riding more and more different styles of bike, I felt a growing desire to experience a scooter for myself, to see how different it would seem, and what sort of riding experience they provide. So when the good folks at MotoGB offered to lend us the new SYM ADX 125, I jumped at the chance to get acquainted with my first-ever scoot.
SYM (or Sanyang Motor for anyone looking to get technical) has been developing well-built two-wheeled rides for more than 60 years from its headquarters in Taiwan.
