Flowers and foliage for partial shade

As the leaves grow on trees and shrubs they cast new shade over the ground beneath, but far from being a place where nothing grows, such areas can offer us the chance to experiment and grow an even wider variety of plants.

Partial shade describes an area when the ground receives three to six hours of sunlight, but is shaded for the rest of the day. Here are my ideas for some plants that I think are underrated in the garden and ideal for planting in such a spot.
