ROSEMARY FFOLLIOT 1935-2009

osemary Ffolliot was one of Ireland's most respected and well-known genealogists. Born in 1935 she published her first book (1958) at the age of 23, beginning and one of the freelance genealogists at the Genealogical Office in Dublin. Renowned for her disciplined and meticulous work, Ffolliott raised the standards of genealogical research in Ireland. She died in 2009. During the course of her work, Ffolliott extracted biographical information from historic Irish newspapers, particularly for families living in the province of Munster in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
