Planting and arranging pots is a simple act that can lift the overall mood of your garden. Having started my career as a florist, I love that they’re like a flower arrangement in intensity, yet able to provide colour and joy for much longer. Here at my garden, Perch Hill, head gardener Josie Lewis and I recently counted that we have nearly 400 pots. I see them like the bubbles in a glass of champagne, the essential flourish in the creation of a beautiful garden.
