We publish articles in every issue contributed by competitive shooters in different sports-shooting disciplines. I am grateful for the time these shooters sacrifice to write the articles, which are based mostly on their own match experiences, with the ultimate aim of growing that particular discipline.

While the articles go through a fairly rigorous editing process, the intention is not to change an author’s meaning. New contributors invited to contribute articles may find this process a bit overwhelming.

The editing process is simply to ensure consistency over the entire magazine and to standardise on technical terms and abbreviations, for example. Sometimes tenses must be changed, depending on when an article was written versus when it is
