Timothée Chalamet might be the third Willy Wonka but for a slightly older generation Johnny Depp will forever be the loopy tophatted chocolatier in what was director Tim Burton’s second-biggest film. But Depp’s mannered wacky candy man remains an acquired taste, as does Burton making the factory a lysergic psychedelic wonderland. (2005)
