HKEX’S NEW CHIEF OPTIMISTIC ON HONG KONG

Bonnie Chan, the newly appointed CEO of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd. (HKEX), expressed her optimism about Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s status as an international financial center.

With more than 30 years of experience in global capital markets, Chan was appointed HKEX CEO on March 1. She has held leadership roles in legal and financial services, with both Asia-Pacific and global responsibilities. Before becoming CEO, Chan was HKEX’s co-chief operating officer.
