After 13 years of marriage to her ex-husband Stephen Giraldo, 36, Sophia grew brave enough to stand up to the years of abuse she faced by filing for divorce in August 2022.
Her breakup was public, too.
Starting her own podcast, Unfiltered and Free, in October 2022, 41-year-old Sophia described herself as a ‘survivor of betrayal, trauma and abuse’.
Speaking openly about her marriage to Stephen, she claimed that their relationship had been ‘toxic’ and had taken a dramatic downturnthat Stephen was a sex addict.
