Not enough trees!

As with many of your readers, when the latest PBO shows up, I stop everything and do a scan. I resist the urge to read Dave or Sam or Marsali – save the best for last.

But then I may be looking for something that many of your readers aren’t. You see, having been boating in Canada for 40 years, I’m always struck by the similarities recreational boaters share in different parts of the world. But on occasion, something turns up that doesn’t quite align and can provide great mirth.

Flipping through January 2024 I can have no issue with Clive’s view on hats. There’s practical, and globally applicable advice on cooling water (Stu), heating water (Jon) and’s Northwest Passage. I’d like to shake his hand and buy him a beer.
