A golden age

Piaget is sometimes regarded as a jeweller first and a watchmaker second. In reality, it’s the other way around. The firm was founded in 1874 as a manufacturer of movements (watch mechanisms) before becoming a dial name in its own right, and this year will mark its 150th anniversary with the revival of a watch that epitomises the golden age of Riviera glamour.
